There was a day when people ran to the mailbox with hope in their hearts anxious for news from loved ones far away. My Grandma Helen wrote to her sister weekly. She saved all of the touching letters she received from my Grandfather while he was away. What a treasure. I still have sweet notes written by those I love. The written word is so powerful.
